   Cuming County is located in the Elkhorn Valley Region and is a recognized leader in the agriculture industry. In addition to the area’s abundant resources, we offer a safe place to visit or call home.

While in Cuming County, test your golf skills on the Indian Trails Country Club 18-hole golf course located just 2 miles south of Beemer, brush up on your knowledge of poet John G. Neihardt at the Neihardt Center located in Bancroft, or enjoy any of our county’s hometown restaurants.

   Cuming County also hosts a variety of events to keep you entertained throughout the year. Visit our county to enjoy the largest one-day car show in the Midwest, the Last Fling ‘Til Spring Car Show in West Point, the nationally sanctioned Thunder by the River Tractor Pull in Wisner, Beemer Play Daze, Wisner’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration, or one of the many exhibits at the Neihardt Center in Bancroft. Our county is also home to one of the finest county fairs in the Midwest, with nearly 30,000 people that pass through the gates each year.

Our county also offers unique businesses that are ready to meet your individual needs. In addition, our education and health care systems allow you to receive urban services in a rural setting.
